This page provides help with setting up location services on some popular devices. Scroll down the list to find your device, and follow the instructions to enable location services for your device. When you are using the site, remember to allow 'Highwalklondon.co.uk' to access your location if you get prompted by your device, and that you will need to enable data services to access the web when you are out and about.

iOS7 (released with Apple iPad2, iPhone5 or later)

Android: Settings* > Location Services*.

Tap Settings*, then Locations Services*. You can enable any of the following location services, in order of least to most accurate: Google location service (uses Cell ID from cellular network towers), Wi-Fi, and GPS Satellites. Check the boxes to enable all of them.

Windows Phone 8: Settings > Location.

In the App list, tap Settings, then Location, then click the switch to turn Location services on.

Internet Explorer 9: Tools (menu) > Internet options > Privacy (tab).

Internet Explorer 9: Click the Tools button, and then click Internet options. Click the Privacy tab, and ensure that the 'Never allow websites to request your physical location' checkbox is not selected. If this still does not work, clear your history using the 'Clear Sites' button.

Macintosh: Apple menu > System Preferences...> Security & Privacy > Privacy (tab).

Choose Apple menu > System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy (tab). If the padlock icon in the lower left is locked, click it and enter an admin name and password to unlock it. Select Location Services on the left. Check the 'Enable Location Services' checkbox. Safari - follow these steps to enable Location Services features in Safari. Select Safari > Preferences > Privacy (toolbar). Select the 'Prompt for each website one time only' radio button.
